The photo this painting is based on, is one that I have been enamored with for some time; well before I ever started this series. I'd seen it around online where pictures of bear type fellas are posted. Obviously I think the subject is cute as can be, but the picture also really appealed to the artist in me; it's really well put together. The angle, the pose, the lighting... it was just a really good picture, despite the subject being so handsome... and those are my favorite kinds of pictures to paint!
When I ran across Jeremy's profile, and realized he was the guy in that photo, I reached out to him to be a part of my little project, specifying how much I enjoyed this picture. And my great pleasure - he agreed!
